Aaron Mulder

MulderAaron Mulder received his M.M.Ed. from Vandercook College of Music, his B.M.Ed. from Chicago College of Performing Arts (Roosevelt University), and his A.F.A. Music from Harper College.

He has played the saxophone and clarinet, and was an arranger and audio producer for the 300th Army Band in Los Angeles. He taught in Grayslake, Illinois for 10 years.

His accomplishments include: Quarter-finalist for the 2016 Grammy Music Educator of the Year, a composition that was performed by Grammy Nominated Danish String Quartet, a 2018 VFW Post 2245 Middle School Teacher of theYear, 2016 NAMM Best Communities for Music Education, 2012 Illinois Middle School Science Olympiad State Championship - Class A, and 2019 Illinois Science Olympiad State Adjudicator - Sounds of Music.

Mulder has a genuine love for the work that he does, and for the students who he learns from every day.

He believes that GREAT music, from a diverse lens of human experiences, will inspire students to think and listen more deeply to the world and people around them.
